This book. Let me say that this book messed with my head. Seriously messed with my mind.
If your reading my blog for the first time, I started a book club and Wink Poppy Midnight by April Genevieve Tucholke was the book we read for the Month of April.
|Review|
Just reading the inside cover you know there is a hero, a villain and a liar. I felt like I knew who was who and I was wrong. Then I switched and then when it was revealed who was who. The heir was easy enough and but the liar?? Why??? What creepy psychotic children….
Poppy comes off as mean.
Wink seems hopelessly romantic.
Midnight seemed to be a normal boy stuck in the middle of a couple of nut jobs.
Then there was the reason behind the chaos.. I went from thinking how creepy to feeling sorry.
Over all I enjoyed this book, the writing was beautiful and haunting at the same time.
I gave this book 4 stars but added the extra star for messing with my head. Grab a copy and read it!
Till next time!
